Start with the question you have
What “game merging AI” means here
“Game merging” also describes casual merge-two puzzle games (fruit, numbers, drinks). This site is not about those. It covers mod mashups: one PC game’s gameplay running inside another, usually built with an AI coding agent. Decrypt describes the common technique as a “passthrough mod” that runs both games at once, one hosting the world while the other supplies movement and combat Decrypt.
Melty packages that idea for players: its homepage invites you to “combine any game in your library and play with your friends” melty.gg FAQ. A mashup, in Melty’s own words, is “a mod that joins games into one” — in SkyCraft, “you play Skyrim as a Minecraft player” melty.gg FAQ.
